SUTTON BARCELONA: [THE ULTIMATE GUIDE]
Sutton Barcelona, my personal favourite club in all Barcelona! The only club that really has managed to maintain a standard of excellence over its 13 years of operation. The place screams luxury, and has the clientele to match. Everyone is good-looking, fashionable and there to enjoy the totally commercial but very enjoyable resident Djs all night long.
It’s the club in Barcelona you’ll likely learn to love and you’ll become a regular on the Friday sessions to cool off after a long work or schoolweek.
You’ll find Sutton on the famed Calle Tuset, one of the hotspots in Barcelona for the rich and famous. The street is known for its upscale bars, restaurants and obviously, clubs.
Across the road from Sutton you’ll find its competitor Bling Bling.
Sutton is open from Wednesday to Saturday with its sessions. Its door is very selective, letting you in only if you’re dressed well and they take care of their girl to guy ratio inside, so guys, best grab some girls to go in with.
The place is full to the brim with Barcelona’s finest crowd Thursday to Saturday and the Wednesdays are packed with young internationals partying the night away, very fun to experience.
LOCATION
How to get to Sutton?
Sutton Barcelona is located on Calle Tuset, 13, right in the middle of the Zona Alta clubs and bars area of town. You’ll find an abundance of bars and upscale restaurants around Sutton.
The nearest metro stop is at Diagonal, but to be honest it is so central to everywhere in Barcelona that you’ll be able to walk (worth it as its a great area of town) or take a taxi/cabify for less than 10 Euros.
The button below is a direct link to google maps to Sutton, you’re welcome!
Quick Tip : For those of you coming from abroad, uber and other private ridesharing apps are illegal in Barcelona. The best alternative is Cabify which is essentially the same as uber but legal in Barcelona.
DRESS CODE & AGE REQUIREMENT
How to get past the bouncers?
The Dress code and the bouncers at Sutton are some of the strictest in Barcelona on a Friday and a Saturday. The age minimums are 23+ for Girls and 25+ for Guys. They often might reject you for seemingly no reason.
The reason is likely that you are underage, not dressed well enough or you are a large group of guys without girls. Keep all that in mind.
On Wednesday and Thursday they are more relaxed, with them being fine with anything 18+, however, the dress code will still be well enforced. So always dress up to go to Sutton, mix guys and girls when you go in and you’ll be fine.
The guideline for the dress code in Sutton is:
- No Rasta
- No sweatpants
- No athletic wear of any kind
- No shorts (exception for dress shorts with nice shoes)
- Stylish T-shirt or Shirt
- No close shaven hairstyles
GIRLS:
Use your night out at Sutton to really dress up. This is the place to show off your best shoes and cocktail dresses.
GUYS:
My recommendation is coming to Sutton looking fresh, showered and put together. No trainers, non-dress shorts or sporty clothing. Best go with long pants, good shoes and a shirt or polo. Everything else runs the risk of not cutting it.
My Best tip for both guys and girls is to simply check out the albums of previous parties at Sutton to see what everyone else is wearing inside.

Plus, there’s nothing better to hype up a night out that putting on your favourite club tunes and browsing through club albums.
QUICK TIP: However, if you dress up very well and especially if it is not a weekend night, there is a good chance you’ll be let in if you are under the age requirement.
AVERAGE LINE
Sutton often throws special events, theres something every two weeks. On those nights there is a hell of a line all the way from 00:30 to 02:30. However on the normal days its never much of a problem, you’ll not need wait more than 10 mins. I’ll recommend getting on our guest list in any case to get through the line quckers and you’ll get in for free.
It’s best you arrive around 1:15-1:30 to Sutton. There are alot of locals in the club and they usually tend to turn up at 1:30-2:30, so you’ll get in before the longer line builds.
Remember, at Sutton the free guest list entry always end at 2am, meaning that you’d best be there 1:30 latest as everyone tries to get in for free.
Get yourself on our Guestlist to avoid inflated cover charges! And stick to the dresscode to ensure entry
